CentrePointe Counseling is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing Christ-centered professional counseling and consultation that works toward transforming individuals and families. Each day, at our numerous sites in Maryland and Northern Virginia, our counselors serve people who have reached out in their search for a better future.
They don’t want the sufferings of the past or the struggles of the present to be the last word. Our counselors come alongside them and help them move in the direction of healing, wholeness, and flourishing — acting as instruments of hope that help them discover the way forward.
CentrePointe Counseling is staffed by licensed, professional counselors — including clinical social workers and psychologists — experienced in psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, family systems, and solution-oriented therapies. Our counselors work with individuals, couples, churches, organizations, and families to help improve relationships, deal with emotional and spiritual struggles, and negotiate life transitions.
CentrePointe Counseling also works with pastors, clergy, churches, denominational groups, and Christian organizations to promote healthy patterns, organizational development, and spiritual growth. Our church partnership program lets congregations link with us more intentionally.
We are committed to serving all members of our community, regardless of health insurance status or ability to pay. These funds make that promise possible.
A mercy grant that subsidizes counseling for those who don’t have insurance coverage or are unable to pay a reduced fee. These grants are fully sustained by donations alone.
Heritage Donors value the long-term impact of CentrePointe and underwrite its mission — contributing regularly or including CentrePointe in their estate planning.
Over 60% of those who seek counseling are women. Women of strength helping women in need — providing direct financial aid to women and their children who cannot afford the full cost of services.
Our Board of Directors has set aside Thursdays as a day of prayer for the ministry of CentrePointe. Will you join us? Pray for our counselors, board, and clients — and for those who need counseling but have not yet taken the first step.
